WWE will be hosting another Saudi Arabia event on October 31st which is bound to be a big show. Several superstars and legends will be performing on this global show as we are expecting another packed global pay-per-view event. Huge matches for that event have become official on this past episode of SmackDown that took place in Las Vegas. WWE officials announced two of the marquee matches for Crown Jewel through a mainstream kind of media press conference.

WWE Superstar Requests Release From The Company

As noted before SmackDown, Cain Velasquez will challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at the Saudi Arabia show. Also, things are going to be extremely physical when Braun Strowman gets into the ring with boxer Tyson Fury. These two matches featuring legit sports athletes have hyped up the second edition of Crown Jewel. But there could be a big schedule problem for the show as it will fall on Thursday night with SmackDown being held on Fridays.

Originally, Saudi Arabia shows take place on Friday nights. That slot had to go through a change after SmackDown has moved to Friday nights. With Crown Jewel shifting on Thursdays, the question remains how it is possible to host SmackDown, just one night after the PPV.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that the SmackDown crew will have to do a lot of quick traveling by the end of October. Right after the Crown Jewel event ends, every one of the rosters will have to hop on a chartered jet. They will be flying straight to Buffalo, New York where SmackDown will take place, the very next day, (ringsidenews.com)

“They are chartering a flight with the SmackDown crew and production crew from Riyadh to Buffalo (where SmackDown will be held) so it’ll be a regular show with the full SmackDown crew.”

There’s no wonder that the deal with Saudi Arabia produces the maximum amount of money for WWE. So they won’t be backing down to adjust the schedule of the superstars to make way for any Saudi PPVs in between weekly programs. However, when the show takes place and the superstars had to travel in a long plane route, they will indeed be exhausted. It will be interesting to see how WWE books that episode of SmackDown where the superstars will perform without any rest.
