WWE announced that there will be a WWE Draft showcase on Monday Night Raw focusing on this Friday night’s special SmackDown. We did not have early information on how this segment could potentially turn out to be. Entering WWE Raw, we got to learn that there will be a huge matchup from the female division where all the four current champions will compete in a match dubbed as Champions Showcase match.
The Miz was out first to introduce us to the WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. Soon he welcomes the brand new SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. Soon he mentioned how Lynch retained over Sasha Banks inside Hell In a Cell whereas Charlotte kicked Bayley’s a** to become a ten-time Women’s Champion in the WWE. Becky does not seem to be too overwhelmed about the fact as she thinks herself to be The Man who runs this division.
This raises tensions between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch as they wanted to upstage each other with the mic in hand. The Miz reminded them a match was waiting next for them on WWE Raw where they team up against WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane. The duo soon interrupted the segment and taunted the singles champions in some Japanese accent before the match went underway.

“At the end of a match that seemingly showcased several rivalries at once — Charlotte and Becky were trying to passive-aggressively show each other up; Lynch still owed Asuka one after losing to her at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view — Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross made their presence known, attacking The Kabuki Warriors just seconds after Asuka blinded Becky with the green mist to tee up Kairi Sane for a match-ending pinfall.”

As you can see the rivalry between the former and current tag champs is not over. Asuka took the easy way en route to a win over Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross by spitting green mist to gain the titles at Hell in a Cell. So they have not forgotten the same that should produce a rematch shortly. Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see which one of them stays on WWE Raw during Draft.
