Team India would be looking to win their fourth series in a row at home this year when they take on New Zealand in the third and final IND vs NZ T20I on Wednesday (February 1). The T20I is scheduled to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

India have started 2023 on a stunning note. They won the T20I series against Sri Lanka before whitewashing them as well as New Zealand in ODIs. The hosts will now be looking to bag yet another series at home.

The series is currently locked at 1-1. New Zealand began the series with an impressive 21-run win over their fancied hosts in the first IND vs NZ T20I. The Black Caps put up better performances than India with both bat and ball to take the lead.

India, however, bounced back in the do-or-die second IND vs NZ T20I although the win was not really convincing. On a tough Lucknow pitch where more than 30 overs were bowled by spinners, New Zealand managed to score only 99 for 8 in 20 overs.

India’s performance with the bat was not impressive either. The hosts managed to cross the finishing line with just a ball remaining. The win, however, has swung the momentum in India’s favour once again and they will be looking to make the most of it in the series-decider.

So before the final T20I of the series gets underway, we are taking a look at the weather and the pitch report.
