The ongoing three-match T20I series between India and New Zealand is set for an epic finish. With both the teams winning one game each so far, the series will be decided by the third and final IND vs NZ T20I.

New Zealand drew the first blood in the series when they inflicted a surprising 21-run loss on India after being whitewashed in the three-match ODI series. New Zealand thoroughly dominated the contest to take the lead in the series.

With the series on the line, India bounced back by registering a 6-wicket win in the must-win second T20I. It was a low-scoring affair in Lucknow as neither of the two teams managed to hit a single six during the match.

Batting first, New Zealand could only manage 99 for 8 in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, India did not have it easy with the bat either as they laboured their way to a win. The Men In Blue crossed the finishing line with just one ball remaining.

The third and final IND vs NZ T20I is scheduled to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Both the teams have the firepower to win the upcoming contest. And with the series at stake, one can expect a good clash.

New Zealand’s Colin Munro’s 426 and Kane Williamson’s 419 are behind Rohit. So far, only Suryakumar Yadav and Colin Munro have managed to score centuries in IND vs NZ T20Is.

Among bowlers, New Zealand leg-spinner Ish Sodhi (24 wickets) is the highest wicket-taker followed by pacer Tim Southee (20 wickets).
