In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Delhi Capitals (DC) skipper David Warner thinks the new add-on feature in IPL 2023 called the ‘Impact Player’ rule to be confusing and stressful, while the DC lost their first game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 50 runs at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
Warner has been appointed DC’s skipper for the 16th edition of IPL, as their regular captain, Rishabh Pant is injured and is unavailable for the season after his road accident in December last year.
David Warner spoke about the ‘Impact Player’ rule at the toss-
“It can be quite confusing, maybe stressful at times (impact player). But it’s a welcome addition to the tournament. Either it’s a batter more or bowler more,” said Warner.
