Star Indian pacer, Arshdeep Singh has said that he tries to keep the team environment light ahead Punjab Kings (PBKS) match against defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) at PCA Stadium in Mohali.
PBKS are currently placed sixth with two wins and one loss, whereas, GT occupies the fourth spot, with the same number of wins in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Pertinently, both sides are coming from the loss in the respective games.
Arshdeep Singh said ahead of PBKS vs GT clash that he is happy with fans’ support-
“Very happy for the fan’s support and to be able to come back and play where it all started for me. The venue will provide a lot of local support and add a Punjabi flavour to IPL,” said the PBKS pacer in a video released by IPL.
The left-arm pacer picked one wicket by bowling thee overs and gave way to 20 runs in his spell after three Punjabi-lad has picked six wickets in three games it played this season.
He said he hopes to keep winning matches for his side in the IPL while thanking the fans for standing by the team even when they don’t win. PBKS has never won the IPL and has finished sixth in the last three editions of the tournament.

Whereas in the last match, Dhawan was awarded Player of the Match for his 99* (66) to take his side post a total of 143/9. Veteran Indian pacer, Bhuvneshwar Kumar took the wicket of opposition opener Prabhsimran Singh on the very first ball of the innings, while from the other end, other batters were getting dismissed.
However, Shikhar Dhawan who came as an opener stood throughout and hit the last ball of the innings for a six to post 143/9 at the end of 20 overs. In his knock, the left-handed batter smashed five sixes and 12 boundaries.
“I’ll try to give my best for the team, wherever they need it. My responsibility is to keep the team environment good. I’m a fun-loving person, so I try and keep the team environment light and make sure that the players enjoy each other’s company,” said Arshdeep.
During the chase–the former champions, lost both their openers at the score of 45-2, but later Rahul Tripathi and Aiden Markram took their side to a victory with unbeaten 74 and 37 runs respectively.
