Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will kick on 31st March, the opening match is between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will start their camping against Delhi Capitals (DC) on 1st April at Ekana Sports Stadium in Lucknow.

Gautam Gambhir is the global mentor of LSG, he is known for his straightforward comments. In the video posted by LSG’s Instagram handle, Gambhir was saying that there is no junior and senior culture in the Lucknow-based club.

Gambhir made a motivational speech ahead of the training camp of LSG for IPL 2023-

Camp mein jab aao, ye soch ke aana ki do mahine this is your family,”

Yahan is franchise mein koi senior, koi junior nahi hai, koi international aur koi domestic nahi hai, koi overseas aur koi first-class cricketer nahi hai. Sab ek level ke players hai. Jitni importance ek international player ko di jaegi utni hi importance ek domestic player ko di jaegi,” said former Indian cricketer.

Former Indian opener played for Delhi and Kolkata franchises in the IPL. Gambhir won KKR their first-ever title in 2012 and then lifted the trophy a second time in the 2014 edition of IPL. The 41-year-old retired from all forms of cricket in 2018.

LSG are the new franchise that was added to India’s T20 league last year in IPL 15 along with a Gujarat-based club. In the inaugural season of Giants, they finished in the third spot in the points table with nine wins and five losses out of 14 matches. KL Rahul-led side was kicked off after getting beaten by RCB in the play-off match.

in the IPL 2023 mini-auction, LSG purchased 10 players, their biggest acquisition was Nicholas Pooran for INR 16 crore, and the team will be once again led by the star Indian opener Rahul in IPL 16.

Before IPL 2023, The much-awaited Women’s Premier League (WPL) is all set to start from 4th March, in the inaugural season of WPL five teams will be competing in the tournament. The team from Lucknow will be called UP Warriorz. Alyssa Healy-led Warriorz will start their camping on 5th March against Gujarat Giants.
