All Elite Wrestling has spent four years in the pro-wrestling industry and now they also have a new longest-reigning champion in Jade Cargill. The achievement of a historic milestone in AEW by her was noted by a few outlets as her TBS Championship run continues.

As of this writing, Jade Cargill has been the AEW TBS Champion for 373 days meaning that she’s now the new longest-reigning champion in the company’s history. Previously Hikaru Shida held the record of being a champion for 372 days with the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Shida was also the inaugural Women’s Champ in the AEW roster while Jade Cargill herself is the debuting and only TBS Champion in the company’s history. Throughout her time at AEW, she has already scored several impressive feats. Since having her first match as the leader of The Baddies has started impressing fans and critics since March 2021. Holding a title for this long in a short career is quite an accomplishment after all.

As noted above, Jade Cargill remains the only TBS Champion in AEW history. She won a tournament to become the inaugural champion in January 2022 by defeating Ruby Soho in the final match.

As the dominant run continues, she also broke Hikaru Shida’s previous record of putting the title on the line for the most number of times when she was the AEW Women’s Champion. The TBS Champion has defended the title 17 times while Shida only defended her title eight times successfully during her 372-day reign as champion. This is also a record in AEW history for the most title defenses by any champion from both the men’s and women’s roster.

Jade Cargill had successful title defenses against various talents such as The Bunny, and Willow Nightingale. The latest title defense of hers came against Skye Blue at Battle of the Belts V.

Over on Rampage, Jade Cargill and Leila Grey appeared for a backstage interview with Lexi Nair. The AEW TBS Champion bragged about how she made Red Velvet a star by taking her under the wings in The Baddies. Leila also claimed that Velvet has been replaced by her in the faction.
