As per the earlier reports, Samoa Joe was supposed to be the latest victim of WWE’s Wellness Policy Violation. Although no official word was out from the company’s side, he was said to be dealing with failed PDEs that could lead to the first suspension that should have sent him off the programming for 30 days. But apparently that is not true as clarified by some sources.
Spoiler: Another Top Superstar From WWE Raw To Get Suspended
The rumors were immediately debunked as Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Samoa Joe has suffered a concussion. The suspension news got conflicted when updates were also received from the WWE commentary team also noted that the former United States Champion has been dealing with a concussion that may have affected his head.

While going for a suicidal dive in a match on Raw, he landed on his head that forced WWE officials to carry him out of the ringside area, right away.
Fightful Select is also reporting that “top staff” in WWE “vehemently” denied a suspension of Samoa Joe. Although he could be ‘worked’ by the company, the denials regarding the suspension of a top star like him are increasing. Sean Ross Sapp of the source later noted that noted on Twitter that they weren’t given an “official WWE denial” in this regard.
I wasn't given an official WWE denial, just denials from people that work there. I've reached out to WWE on the record as well. https://t.co/jamLs9f54L

But then interestingly, another major update was received from WWE itself when they added Samoa Joe in the potential main event match of the next edition of WWE Raw. He will be featuring in a huge six-man tag team match that marks his in-ring return on TV,
“An epic Eight-Man Tag Team Match will pit Raw Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Murphy with AOP against Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe & The Viking Raiders. The match was first reported by Sports Illustrated in an interview with Seth Rollins, as The Monday Night Messiah continues to pull the strings of the Raw locker room.” (Courtesy WWE.com)
Although the card is subjected to change, it’s pretty certain that WWE must have not made that announcement unless they were confirmed of the Samoan Submission Machine’s status which seems positive. If he appears on the flagship show on Monday night, the rumors of his potential suspension would be wiped out.
