It was unfortunate to see two bright talents Mike and Maria Kanellis Bennett leaving the WWE, last Wednesday night. They were two of those superstars who were released by WWE alongside several WWE performers, backstage producers, writers and more.
The coronavirus pandemic has forced WWE to come up with a budget cut which meant that they had to trim down the roster to some extent.

As seen on social media, both Mike and Maria Kanellis remained positive after being spared by the biggest pro-wrestling promotion of the world.
They were seen spending time in self-isolation by connecting with their fans all around the world, answering questions and posting more pictures of their family. While doing so, Maria answered the dream match that she wanted to have.

A fan asked the question of whether she’d be interested in doing one last match. The former Slammy Award-winning Diva gave an answer that garnered attention from the pro-wrestling universe.
She named the youngest Divas Champion of all-time, Paige. Even the anti-Diva herself addressed the answer posting a reply on Twitter. Now that would be a match to watch out for knowing that it would never happen.

Two years ago, Paige officially announced her retirement from in-ring competition after WrestleMania 24 at the same venue where she debuted in 2014. A broken neck cum spinal stenosis condition was the main reason why doctors disqualified her from ever competing inside the squared circle, ever again.
But that did not stop the fans to speculate that she’d return to competition, at one point given Daniel Bryan and Edge are back from the same injury.

Paige replied by retweeting a clip where Maria Kanellis had chosen her as a dream opponent, seemingly hinting that the match may be possible one day, down the line.
But for now, the two have to go separate ways considering Paige continues to stay under WWE banner whereas Maria Kanellis would perhaps join an independent wrestling promotion along with husband, Mike Bennett.
