Natalya Opens Up Becky Lynch’s Sudden Pregnancy Time-Off From WWE
Becky Lynch shocked the pro-wrestling world by announcing that she is pregnant during the post Money In The Bank edition of Monday Night Raw. She was the RAW Women’s Champion for more than 400 days creating her own Man-dom on the flagship show. When it seemed that nobody was able to end her title reign, she decided to do that all by herself.
Becky Lynch started her title reign at WrestleMania 35 when she pinned Ronda Rousey in the first-ever Women’s main event in the history of the show. Now, she’ll be off to enjoy motherhood and thus will remain off the board for an extended period of time.
The criticism about this hiatus is this Becky Lynch was on her prime and there’s not much example is available when someone like her fame decided to walk away from all of these, willingly.
While talking about the pregnancy news of Becky Lynch, the most veteran female wrestler of the women’s division, Natalya revealed to Calgary Sun that she was completely shocked when the news was broken by The MAN.
She said that she couldn’t believe that she was going to miss a dear friend of hers for months to follow.
“It took me a minute to digest what I was hearing; Becky Lynch would be no longer be sharing a locker room with us, but she would be taking on this new role of motherhood during the height of her career,” Natalya wrote. “I knew in that moment that I was truly going to miss seeing someone who wasn’t just a coworker, but a friend to me and so many others in WWE.”

For those who don’t know, Natalya and Becky Lynch share an illustrious history between themselves who started their career at the same time. They went to Japan in 2005 to give their career a boost. While Nattie was fortunate enough to sign a contract with WWE, the following year, Becky Lynch had to wait eight more years to come to the big league.
“Becky and I shared our first tour of Japan together in 2005 when we were both just getting started,” Natalya continued. “She knew what it was like to be an underdog, which was ultimately what helped turn her into one of the biggest stars in WWE.”
Eventually, Becky Lynch has also defended her Raw Women’s Championship against Natalya at last year’s SummerSlam in a submission match. The Queen of Harts noted that they were inspired by the Bret Hart vs Steve Austin WrestleMania 13 submission match for their SummerSlam bout. Natalya also mentioned that it is the favorite submission match of her career, to date.
“Turns out we both found inspiration in Austin vs. The Hitman and we both studied that match closely before our SummerSlam match. Not only did we tear the house down in what was my favorite submission match I’ve been in, but we also felt proud that together we were setting the bar high for the Raw women’s division.”
