As we all know, this is the show where each of the championships from WWE roster remains on the line.

So AJ Styles must defend his United States Championship at Clash Of Champions keeping the tradition of the PPV intact. Earlier the speculation was that Braun Strowman would be the one to challenge him for the title and competing in three straight matches on the PPV show. But the officials must have decided to allow the young Cedric Alexander who has a ton of potential. This will be his first pay-per-view title match after arriving at the main roster.

AJ Styles is playing the top heel’s role on WWE Raw division ever since his comeback from a minor injury, back in June. He turned into a villain during the feud against Ricochet that produced some matches in recent past. The alliance consisting Styles, Gallows and Anderson became stronger day by day as the latter duo picked up the Raw tag team titles, in due course.

But their title reign came to an end, real quick when Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman took the tag team championships away from them. AJ Styles then demanded to get a Universal Championship shot pointing out that Strowman received the shot via unfair means. He did not receive that, as well as leading him to a frustrating condition. “A backstage attack by The O.C. hindered Cedric Alexander’s chances of advancing in the King of the Ring tournament on Raw, and now this astoundingly athletic Superstar will have a chance at retribution against United States Champion AJ Styles when he battles The Phenomenal One this Monday night. With his King of the Ring dreams tarnished by Styles and his nefarious allies Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Alexander will no doubt hold nothing back against the U.S. Champion. Will Alexander settle the score?”

By the end of WWE Raw, Cedric Alexander sought redemption on AJ Styles with a big win on the main event. This should set up for bigger things for the youngster.
