WWE has previously released a statement claiming that they are observing the situation. Momentarily, they stopped using the Saudi Arabia term from their programming. But that did not put an end to the Crown Jewel PPV storylines. The buildup around this show is going on in a full-fledged way hinting that there’s no chance of cancellation of the show.

The biggest constraint for the WWE is money. It’s unbelievable that Saudi Arabia is spending this much money for one single wrestling show on November 2nd. They could raise the shares of the WWE with this much heavy payments. Furthermore, this will benefit the performers as they would get extra revenue paychecks.

As per the reports of The Dirty Sheets, WWE is receiving 60 million dollars for hosting Crown Jewel PPV. They are spending 40 million just to organize and set things up for the show. The rest of 20 million dollars are for expenses of the show. (which also includes paying for talent) This brings us to the marquee talents of this Saudi Arabia show.

Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, and Shawn Michaels are these three names who are getting a huge amount of money for performing in Crown Jewel. Here are their payment details as per the source,

— Shawn Michaels: $3 Million

– Brock Lesnar: $3 Million

– The Undertaker: $2 Million

It’s really unbelievable that one could receive that much amount of money for wrestling in just one match. Franchise players like Roman Reigns or John Cena even get $1.7 million for working the entire year with the WWE. Saudi Arabia is giving special treatment to these names. Hence there are no chances of WWE backing out of the global PPV event.

Crown Jewel can only be off only if US Govt. or certain stakeholders tell WWE to do so. Here are further updates regarding the show (courtesy wwfoldschool.com)

“If the show gets canceled, then don’t expect Shawn Michaels & Brock Lesnar to take major pay cuts to compete in their matches as WWE won’t be spending $8 million on 3 stars just so they can provide the fans with what they advertised (unless it’s WrestleMania)”
