Review & Twitter Reactions From This Week’s Smackdown Live: November 20, 2018 1

Smackdown Live aired from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, last night. It was the fourth straight show to take place at the same venue. Charlotte Flair opened the night cutting a promo on her beatdown on Ronda Rousey. She received huge cheers from the fans despite being the heel. It’s a good thing that the audience does not care about a top superstar being heel or face. Her current status should be the one to justify her actions.

Charlotte might have taken a babyface turn after fighting off the two IIconics in back-to-back matches. She squashed the two heels despite their combined resistance hinting a huge push coming her way. This would set her up for a potential main event match at Wrestlemania. No prize for guessing her opponent i.e. Ronda Rousey. This rematch seems evident after what went down at Survivor Series.

Smackdown creative team seemed in a confusing state while addressing the Survivor Series fallouts. The superstars should have received an ultimatum from the commissioner after digesting a clean sweep. Instead, Shane McMahon received a Miz TV segment with the host, The Miz. A random tag team match followed thereafter without any impact. This is where the show lost its impact.

Daniel Bryan showed his true colors on this week’s Smackdown Live. He gave a solid explanation to the heel-turn owing to his dreams. Well, this is the only reason which helped him to capture the WWE Championship, finally. Also, we received the confirmations of the YES movement coming to an end. So there should be No chants from now on whenever Bryan enters an arena.

Randy Orton has gone back to pick up his legend killer persona for sometimes. He is targeting people’s identities to expose the sadistic persona of himself. He targeted the mask of Rey Mysterio for the entire time of his match on Smackdown main event. Eventually, it fell off when the match was over to portray the cruel characteristics of the Viper. It’s a pleasure to watch Randy Orton in his absolute best form on the show.

Overall, it was a confusing episode of Smackdown Live which did not address Survivor Series fallouts properly. They did not start the buildup for TLC, either. Here are the Twitter reactions from the night in Los Angeles,
