Review & Twitter Reactions From This Week’s WWE Raw: October 29, 2018

WWE Raw opened up this week with a decent segment. Baron Corbin cut a heel promo speaking about Roman Reigns’ leukemia battle. His words that Roman should not be back on the show ever was a nasty one. Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman arrived on the scene to save the acting GM from a dud promo. The crowd loved to see Strowman giving Corbin three powerslams. Ultimately, Lesnar prevailed with an F-5.

The creative team is building Bobby Lashley with a top-most heel figure on WWE Raw. His association with Lio Rush is getting stronger day by day. The fact that these two have been annoying as heels, could work in a positive way for Lashley’s character. For now, he has the opportunity to compete at WWE Crown Jewel in the world cup tournament. He is replacing none other than John Cena on the show.

The audience of WWE Raw was eager to see Dean Ambrose having a face-off against Seth Rollins. These two are likely to have a stretched rivalry over the course of the next couple of months. So it was a good decision to keep Ambrose shut when Rollins demanded an answer for the heel turn. The officials could do the same thing With Dean Ambrose to make the fans really sick at their stomach.

Fans also received Elias’ babyface turn well on WWE Raw. He continued to transition into the new role in a gradual manner by taking on against heels. Last night’s win against Jinder Mahal came in a quicker time to make him look stronger. It was also no surprise to see Trish Stratus and Lita continuing to appear on WWE Raw. Reports were out about their long stint which might continue until the Survivor Series PPV event.

The main event segment featuring The Brothers of Destruction played out well on WWE Raw. For the better part of the ongoing rivalry, Undertaker and Kane had the upper hand over the D-Generation X members. So it was a good decision to see Shawn Michaels delivering a superkick on Undertaker to keep him down. However, he was successful for momentarily. He got back on his feet indicating that a big fight is waiting at Crown Jewel.

Overall, this week’s episode of WWE Raw had average buildups for Crown Jewel. Here are the Twitter reactions from it,
