Two WWE superstars have picked up injuries ahead of 32nd edition of Summerslam. Whereas one of them would make it to the PPV event, the other one will have to be out of action for the next few months. Ricochet is the first name concerned who will be available to compete in the scheduled Summerslam match against AJ Styles. The other name is Bobby Lashley who won’t be appearing on TV for quite sometimes.

As reported by Dave Meltzer on the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Ricochet is currently working through an elbow injury. This might have been the reason why the officials protected him in a tag team match on WWE Raw this week.
“Ricochet’s got the bad elbow,” reported Meltzer. “It’s from an infection, but, he looked good [on Raw this week].”

On Raw, Ricochet competed in a six-man tag team match where he teamed up with Big E and Xavier Woods to face The OC. But on this Sunday, he is set to challenge AJ Styles for the United States Championship at WWE Summerslam. Meltzer continued that Ricochet will have the chance to tear the house down. But the question remains whether the injury will allow him to steal the show.
As for Bobby Lashley, there’s a big reason that we have not witnessed him on WWE Raw in recent weeks. He was suffering from injury and officials eliminated him from Summerslam storylines, subsequently. Fightful.com was the first to bring up the injury news to which Pro-Wrestling Sheet added an update stating he has undergone recent surgery,
“Lashley was dealing with an undisclosed injury and that his projected return date was in early November. We can confirm Bobby is still on track to make that happen. According to sources, the 43-year-old had to go under the knife to remove bone spurs from his elbow.”
As of now, the prediction is Bobby Lashley will not be available until November of this year. So he will not make it to Summerslam or the next set of PPVs like Clash of Champions or Hell in a Cell. The last time Bobby Lashley competed in a match was at the All-Star Battle Royal to determine number one contender for Universal Championship.
