After which he was selected in the ODI team for the triangular series against Bangladesh. But he did not get a chance to play in any of the five-match series. However, Rohit scored his first ODI century against Zimbabwe in 2010. He played an innings of 114 runs in that match. After this, in 2010, he scored another century against Sri Lanka in the triangular series. Rohit had scored an unbeaten 110 runs in that match. However, despite this, Rohit was not given a place in Team India for the 2011 Cricket World Cup.
