WWE is reportedly having big interests in signing independent star Rok-C. The company is well aware of the fact that they have a big void in the female roster after so many releases over the past couple of years. They had to call up several former superstars from the past to fill in the 30 slots or else it won’t be possible for them to host the match in the first place.
WWE has been conducting tryouts some of the interesting names have been participating in those. One of the prominent names to show up for these tryouts was Monster Factory project Notorious Mimi. The interesting prospect for the WWE roster has been the former Ring Of Honor Women’s Champion Rok-C.
The 20-year-old superstar worked the December WWE Performance Center tryouts and performed well as per the reports from Fightful Select. It was noted in the report that a significant push within WWE was to sign Rok-C under to a contract even before she performed well at the tryout camp. That December WWE tryouts were big and the company gave the Performance Center trainees a few days off in order to check those newbies out.

Rok-C was considered to be too young to be signed
WWE has passed on much younger talents like Rok-C because they were “too young” but that perspective has reportedly ended in recent times. The concerned name has also recently dropped the ROH Women’s Championship which is another sign that she could be on her way to the biggest professional wrestling promotion of the world.
Deonna Purrazzo faced ex-Ring of Honor women’s champ Rok-C on Impact where the former’s AAA Reina de Reinas Championship was also on the line. Purrazzo won that match via her Fujiwara Armbar to become a dual champion. WWE sources also pointed out to this main event as a no-brainer that the company was going after the former ROH Champ.
Rok-C became the inaugural ROH Women’s World Champion back in September 2021 which remains her biggest success, to date. Originally, she started training for pro wrestling at the age of 13. Three years later, she also trained under WWE Hall of Famer Booker T at the age of 16. Working for Booker’s Reality of Wrestling promotion in Texas, she also became a one-time ROW Diamonds Division Champion.
