Roman Reigns hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since the face-to-face confrontation with Goldberg on an episode of SmackDown. He was actually scheduled to face the former WCW franchise player at WrestleMania 36 which never happened.

But as reported earlier, he pulled out of the Universal Championship match at the show of shows on the same day, the match was supposed to be taped.

It is unknown when Roman Reigns will return to the ring for action as WWE never provided an official update regarding him. It was also speculated that the relationship between WWE and The Big Dog has been deteriorated. This might be the reason why WWE edited him out in recent footage shown from WrestleMania 31.

But apparently the relationship between the two parties may have improved as Fightful reported that WWE is not pressuring Roman Reigns to come back. He is in “no rush to return” and WWE either doesn’t have any problems with his decision. It was already stated that it depends entirely on Reigns when he decides to step back into the ring, again.

Roman Reigns is away from the scene for almost 2 months now. The general belief is that he isn’t going to return until the end of the Coronavirus pandemic. During his time off from the ring, he’s gotten into some other things. He recently signed up for a Cameo account, where he charges fans $250 for personalized videos. The description on the account says:

“Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoai, WWE Champion. JOE ANOAI is a WWE Professional Wrestler aka “ROMAN REIGNS.” Anoai is a WWE Universal Champion, a 3x WWE Champion, a WWE U.S. Champion, a WWE Intercontinental Champion and a WWE Tag Team Champion.”

It sounds good considering that he actually has WWE mentioned alongside him. Previously, Vince McMahon has reportedly instructed not to align WWE’s name with him, anywhere which sounded shocking since he’s the franchise figure of the company.

Roman Reigns recently spoke with TMZ Sports about his status with the company and clarified that his family is the sole reason behind the decision of staying back from in-ring competition. It has actually nothing to do with his weak immune system due to earlier battle with leukemia,

“I actually am fine, and my immune system is good. The drugs that I take in order to fight leukemia, they don’t attack your immune system, but not everybody knew because I try to keep it private in this crazy world, but my children, you know, we just had two newborn twin boys, they’re eight weeks old, so i had to make a decision for them, and I love this business… if anybody ever questions if I love this business, go back about a year and a half ago.”
