WWE’s resident stars like John Cena, Randy Orton or Triple H have always received heats for beating down the so-called veterans from the pro-wrestling circuit. Especially, the negativity around the latter name is much bigger considering that he is the son-in-law of Vince McMahon who owns the company. So there has to be some biasedness towards him.
Update On WWE Veteran Scott Steiner After Collapsing At Impact TV Tapings
Betting Odds Revealed For WWE Wrestlemania 36 Main Event
During a recent interview with Sitting Ringside, former WCW World Heavyweight Champion “Big Poppa Pump” aka Scott Steiner expressed his view on this matter. Previously, he went on a rant on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon for running the WWE with unfair means, according to him. This time around, his words are no different as he went on to blame Triple H for beating WCW legends.
10 WWE Superstars Who Didn’t Compete At Wrestlemania 35 But Will Be At Wrestlemania 36
Back at the beginning of this millennium, Vince McMahon took over the WCW brand to kill competitions around him. Thus some of the legendary names present on the Eric Bischoff run-show were forced to arrive at the WWE, over the years. Eventually, all of them be it Goldberg, Sting or Kevin Nash, all of them ended up losing to Triple H.
As per Scott Steiner (who also beaten by Triple H), WWE officials never treated these names as per their caliber. Rather, they were treated only for putting over the cerebral assassin of the WWE who went on to become a 14-time world champion in the process. Here are more comments from the former WWE superstar from the interview,
“Same thing went wrong [for me] that went wrong for everyone else that went from WCW. Look what he did, Triple H beat everybody.
Kevin Nash went in and look what he did, he had a DQ and then he got beat. Sting got treated worse, he had one match with him and he was done.

Then he got into professional wrestling and that was his time to shine. Of course, it does help banging the boss’ daughter so you know, he took advantage of everything that he could and he beat everyone from WCW. Why?!
They treated everyone like sh*t and we’re all in the same business. You know, wrestling is a small knit community, you know it’s a brotherhood. But you’re gonna treat us bad because we wrestled for somebody else? I mean it made no sense but now it’s biting them in the a$$.
They would kill — f***ing kill for half the ratings that they had when we had the Monday Night Wars. Look at em, it’s biting in the a$$ and f*ck them. They got what they deserved.”

Triple H had feuds with Goldberg back at the beginning of the Ruthless Aggression Era during his short tenure in the company. After beating The Myth, Triple H also dismantled the Diesel aka Kevin Nash in a rivalry during 2012. Also, Sting arrived for the first time in 2014 only to get victimized by The Game at the grandest event of them all, Wrestlemania 31.
