The bond that Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose shared from their Shield buddy-hood days is something that was thought to be unbreakable. However, that’s not how the story unfolded as the latter one chose to leave the WWE earlier this year and joined All Elite Wrestling promotion.

But the fans must be wondering whether the duo still shares the same equation or have contacts with each other. Seth Rollins opened up on the issue recently while talking to the fans and let knew that he still shares a cordial relationship with Dean Ambrose. At least the not-so-social-media friendly guy replied him back after a text.

Seth Rollins appeared in a panel earlier this week alongside RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. During the Q&A session, a fan asked him about his current relationship with former Shield brethren Dean Ambrose aka Jon Moxley.

We reported previously that Rollins did have some tough words for Moxley in the past. But he still texted the current AEW star on his birthday, last Saturday and got a reply back.

“I texted him on his birthday, which was a few days ago, and wished him well,” Rollins said. “I hope that he’s good, and he seems to be doing great at AEW and New Japan. I wish nothing but the best for him and his lovely wife, and their great dog.”

“[Moxley] said, ‘Thanks brother!’.”

Although the two are still supposed to be sharing a bond between each other, the bygone past does not suggest the same. Seth Rollins had been critical of Moxley’s comments where he chose to rip off WWE on Talk Is Jericho podcast.

In reply, during an interview on the Sports Illustrated Media Podcast this past summer, Rollins said that he loves Moxley but he basically “took his ball and went home.”

The heated war between the two company representatives is still continuing as WWE and AEW are going at each other trying to keep up the competition higher than ever.
