Sheamus, The Usos And John Morrison Return On WWE Smackdown 1

The first televised episode of SmackDown of this decade was lit up with a number of returns, onboard. Three major names decided to make a surprise appearance on the show to give a pleasant surprise to the fans.

Former tag team champions, Intercontinental Champion and WWE Champion were in the returnees’ list. The Usos, John Morrison and Sheamus are three concerned persons who made shocking comebacks.

WWE Announces Huge Matchup For Next Week’s SmackDown On FOX

The Usos made their return on SmackDown following the main event of which saw Dolph Ziggler and King Baron Corbin battling against Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan. WWE Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt attacked Daniel Bryan to disqualify the matchup.

This allowed Ziggler and Corbin to attack Reigns, further. The Usos then made their presence felt on the show by running out and make the save for their cousin.

The Usos were away from WWE TV since July after Jimmy Uso was arrested on DUI charges. He was excused of those offenses back on Wednesday, December 18 following which their return seemed imminent to the squared circle. It was reported back in late December that WWE officials received instructions to come up with some creative ideas.

That was executed well on last night’s SmackDown as Reigns received helping hands in the form of his own family members.

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion John Morrison also returned to regular WWE TV during last night’s SmackDown episode that aired from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee.

Cathy Kelley tried to get comments from Miz after he snapped on Kofi Kingston on the show by knocking his door. But he instead found out that John Morrison was walking out of it. No more was shown regarding this angle on the show.

Lastly, Sheamus returned on SmackDown after several vignettes around him had been airing in the past few weeks. He showed up after Shorty G defeated Dash Wilder of The Revival in a single action to get beat up by the Revival. He was supposed to help out G but instead delivered a Brogue Kick to turn heel.

Sheamus Addresses An Old Rumor With Becky Lynch

Sheamus was out of action since the post-WrestleMania 35 SmackDown episode after suffering a concussion. He was reportedly suffering from spinal stenosis which had to be overcome in order to make the return.
