As noted earlier during the TLC pay-per-view event, WWE has set the tables for a cross-generation match featuring two tag teams in the WWE.
A confrontation happened between The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson) and Booker T that set up the possibility that the latter name might come back to in-ring competition with her former tag partner Stevie Ray.
WWE Saved Two TLC Matches For Royal Rumble 2020 PPV
No follow-up was noted after the confrontation that could confirm that WWE would actually make a storyline out of it. It was supposed to be a one-off angle at TLC that could have helped The Revival to go over as heels.
However, it looks like the former SmackDown Tag Team Champions are in no mood to back down after what went down at TLC and they want to continue the rant.
Scott Dawson of The Revival took to his official Twitter account as he pushed for a match that would see them take on WWE Hall of Famers Booker T and Stevie Ray at the Royal Rumble.

The duo has never performed in the WWE as a tag team. But they certainly deserved to be Hall of Famers. It was earlier this year that WWE has finally inducted these two into the prestigious club.
The Revival Says They’re Struggling Without Randy Orton
Now that The Revival has been calling them directly, rumors are going on whether the duo will finally be coming back to compete in one last match.
Interestingly, The Revival has also posted the Royal Rumble graphics in the back. It hinted that the match could be in the pipeline for the inaugural pay-per-view event of 2020.
It takes place at the Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas on Sunday, January 26, 2020. The Revival is willing to leave the WWE in due course once their contracts expire. It is rumored that the deal will be over earlier in 2020. So WWE could try to prevent them from leaving by setting up a big matchup at the first PPV of 2020.
