A second or third-generation superstar has to deal with a lot of pressure on the shoulders as he or she has to follow in the footsteps of a famous family member. With greater cause comes great responsibilities and no one knows it better than Simone Johnson whose father is none other than the Great Dwayne The Rock Johnson. As reported earlier, Simone has joined the WWE Performance Center in recent times.
How The Rock’s Daughter Simone Johnson Doing Upon Joining WWE?
The news of the youngster joining the training sessions in Orlando, Florida had garnered a lot of mainstream media attention, to say the least. As the daughter of The Rock, there are certain expectations from him. The world will be watching closely to what Simone Johnson will be able to do inside the squared circle in the near future. For now, she continues her journey at the WWE Performance Center to get familiar with WWE kind of wrestling.

It seems like there is one man who will keep a close eye on her development. He is none other than The Great One himself. As learned through the comments of The Rock, he is in full praise of the road her daughter is going through and he will continue supporting her,
“Respect the ground you walk, protect the name you carry and blaze your own @wwenxt @wwe path.
Proud of you and as you go down the road, I’ll always have your back.”
At some point, Simone Johnson will indeed make her debut on WWE TV but for now, he will have to go through some intense training sessions to become a WWE wrestler.
Since she is mainstream attention, WWE could also use her directly on the main roster instead of NXT. But still, there’s a long way for this to happen. Maybe The Rock himself could get involved to endorse her daughter.
As for himself, The Rock has become the biggest star in the Hollywood industry while being away from the wrestling business. He hasn’t competed in an official match since WrestleMania 32 in 2016.
The anticipation is that he’d find himself back in the mix for at least one more match before he hanging up his boots, permanently. Perhaps, next year’s WrestleMania in Hollywood would be the biggest opportunity for WWE to book him in a match.
