Punk won back the WWE Championship at Survivor Series 2011 from Alberto Del Rio three months after dropping it at SummerSlam. He went on to become the longest-reigning Champion with the most prestigious title in the sports entertainment having successful defenses against the likes of Chris Jericho, John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Ryback, Mark Henry, and more. He finally lost it to The Rock in January 2013 at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
