Asuka vs. Nia Jax – Raw Women’s Championship
Asuka won the 2020 Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder match which was not exactly for a title opportunity. Thus year, Ms. Money In The Bank, actually became the RAW Women’s Champion, that night as the former champion Becky Lynch had to vacate the belt due to pregnancy.
The new RAW Women’s Champion will now have a chip on her shoulder as every female roster member would target her. Nia Jax seems to be the first challenger after what transpired on this week’s Raw. Previous reports already suggested that WWE was planning a feud between the two. Now they would fight over the title at Backlash.
Asuka successfully defending against The Irresistible Force at Backlash would be a great way to kick off her title reign whereas a bonafide heel like Jax would help her to become a babyface star.
