Sheamus vs Jeff Hardy
After being out of action for almost a year, Jeff Hardy returned to the blue brand around WrestleMania. Following the show or shows, WWE planted the seeds of a feud against Sheamus who wasn’t happy with the return. This rivalry between two of the most veteran wrestlers of the circuit has to happen on a long stretch which should see them in action at Backlash 2020.
WWE built up the return of Jeff Hardy, teasing a feud with Sheamus. On the night that Jeff showed up, The Celtic Warrior interrupted his promo and ended up digesting a Swanton Bomb. Now, Hardy & Sheamus are set to collide in the first round of the Intercontinental Championship tournament. Whoever wins this match, can expect a rematch at Backlash, for sure to continue the feud.
