The Miz TV gave a great start to the Smackdown Live this week. The Bludgeons were unusual guests on an interesting show. They barely got a chance to speak as the A-lister did all the talking by himself.
The crowd wanted Daniel Bryan during this segment and got it right away. The segment set up a first-time main event match on the show.
The next segment of Smackdown featured the opening contest between Rusev and Xavier Woods. These kinds of fresh matchups are always fun to watch especially when The New Day is around in the ring.
Rusev picked up the win which was an expected outcome. There was never any iota of doubt about his quality. Now, WWE is finally pushing him as the new contender for the WWE title.
Usos interrupted Jeff Hardy’s match against Eric Young on Smackdown. This set up a huge tag team action on the show. This is a feud to watch out for in the upcoming weeks.
The Usos against SAnitY is always a feud that the fans were willing to watch. Now, we expect these two teams to beat the hell out of each other – to make their presence felt on the tag team division.
James Ellsworth was present on Smackdown Live to give a proxy for Carmella. He is always the one to keep the crowd entertained with his mic skills. Things were no different this time too.
The date-proposal to Paige was really fun to watch. But there will be no fun when Asuka returns, next week. Ellsworth has to be ready to face the Empress of Tomorrow as per instructions of the GM.
The main event of Smackdown was a solid match between Bryan and Harper. A pleasant surprise was waiting for the fans when Kane came back to the WWE after several months. Fans barely expected Kane in such a capacity.
Team Hell No is back onboard in no time to give a boost to the Smackdown Live ratings. Things will get more interesting as they go into a feud against the Bludgeons in the upcoming weeks.
It was a great night on Tuesday Night courtesy of this blockbuster return.
