Twitter Reactions From This Week’s Smackdown Live: September 11, 2018 1

Smackdown Live opened in a bit of weird note from Lafayette, Louisiana. Jeff Hardy forgot his lines while delivering the opening segment promo. So it fell flat to a big extent failing to give a good start of the show. But the upcoming actions managed to make that up for him. Orton came out to cause the disqualification which was pretty much obvious.

Charlotte Flair won the singles contest against Sonya Deville which was not surprising. Later, the creative team continued to get boos out for Becky Lynch by letting her attack the champion. They even made her disguise as a fan so that the fans give her negative reactions, automatically. We are not pretty much sure whether that thing will work for the fan-favorite superstar.

The tag team tournament finale on Smackdown Live came to an end on the show in a solid way. The match between Rusev Day and The Bar was an entertaining one with back and forth contest. We expected the Bar to come out as the winners. But Rusev and Aiden English shocked us by picking up the win. So it will be two babyface teams competing for the tag team championships at Hell in a Cell PPV.

R-Truth got into a new feud on Smackdown against Andrade Cien Almas. They have their own partners by their side setting this up as a mixed tag team feud. This is a good way to make Truth relevant on the roster by aligning him with Carmella. Almas picked up the win on this week’s show which is only the beginning for them. They will continue fighting on the show for the next several weeks.

The main event of Smackdown was really interesting featuring the two former Divas Champions. Wrestling was not much during this match as Brie and Miz protected Maryse who might have forgot wrestling by now. This is why there were so much ringside shenanigans during the contest. It was good to see Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella standing tall to end the show. Hopefully, the scene will be the same for them at Hell in a Cell, too.

Overall, it was a decent outing from Smackdown to create final hypes for Hell in a Cell. Here are the Twitter reactions,
