Smackdown delivered an entertaining segment on the very beginning of the show. The New Day could not ever bore the fans while being in the ring. None other than Booker T joined them in the ring to give us a double dose of laughter. Only he could be the one to officially welcome the popular faction into the five-time world championship club. The Spinarooni was an extra pleasure to entertain the fans.

The opening contest was a triple threat battle for the Smackdown tag team contenders’ spots. The New Day was fun commentators for this bout. It was good to see Primo and Epico coming back onboard after almost two years. WWE Universe had almost forgotten that these two existed on the main roster. They were on the verge of winning the match but The Bar took advantage and advanced to the finale.

The creative team of Smackdown Live used Daniel Bryan as a way to push Andrade Cien Almas. It was good to see a confrontation between them creating a mixed tag team match. Bryan wanted to be in the ring with Almas for a long time. It finally happened on last night but the match ended in a disqualified manner. The Miz lurked into the scene attacking his nemesis. There’s no way that he let a chance go to beat up Bryan.

AJ Styles and Samoa Joe rivalry is building up to be one of the best on Smackdown Live of this time. The weekly promos by the contender are turning out to be an absolute gem. Things can’t be better for a strong heel like him who is insulting Styles talking about his family. This might be a gradual set up for Joe to win the WWE title for the first time.

Charlotte Flair had a good match against Carmella on Smackdown main event. The crowd chanted ‘we want Becky’ for the entire match who arrived at the end of the show. She arrived on the scene with a beatdown on the champion. The crowd loved this despite the heelish antics of Becky. It just proves how much she is ‘over’ with the audience. Hell in a Cell should be the event where she captures the title with momentums by her side.

Overall, this was another good episode from Smackdown Live for Hell in a Cell buildup. Here are the Twitter reactions from it,
