Smackdown Live focused more on the Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz rivalry on last night. The night opened with another entertaining segment where Bryan and Bella delivered a promo. The younger Bella continued botching promos to make the moment a bit awkward. But Andrade and Zelina Vega appeared to save the day for the duo. It was good to see Almas getting the push on the blue brand.
He was able to take Daniel Bryan to his limit for two consecutive weeks. In fact, he was moments away to pick up the win until the leader of the YES nation fought back valiantly. But prior to that, Almas was all over the place with his in-ring techniques. His moonsault was something worth to watch in this match. It might be evident that a bigger push is coming up for the Mexican Superstar, sooner.

The segment between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe on Smackdown was equally good. They had enough talks with the mic. Now. It’s time for them to go into a fight as we await the Hell in a Cell PPV. The crowd was happy to see AJ running out on the show to confront Joe. A beatdown seemed evident for Joe until the officials ran out. They managed to save the WWE title match for the upcoming PPV.

It’s also worth to note the interesting ally going on between Carmella and R-Truth. It is surely a good idea to utilize these two on Smackdown Live. We have not seen Truth in the picture owing to his injury whereas Carmella is out of the title scenario after losing to Charlotte. So perhaps she will transition to a manager for R-Truth to keep relevance on the show.

The Smackdown main event was another entertainer between R-Truth and The Miz. Truth showed off his veteran skills. He still has left plenty in the tank to deliver a solid match. Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella came out to interrupt to seek retribution on the Miz, as expected. They locked in the Yes Lock on Andrade and Vega to close the show on a good note.
Overall, it was another good episode from Smackdown Live. Check out the Twitter reactions, here,
