Tyson Fury was reportedly coming back to the WWE for a special appearance at WrestleMania 36. But the global COVID-19 had set up other plans which forced WWE to re-design their creative plans. This included the comeback of Tyson Fury that came to a halt. But it seems those talks have re-emerged as WWE is quietly setting up his return plans.
It seems the Gypsy King is talking to WWE once again. He stated on Redknapp’s Home Fixture show on Sky Sports about speaking to Vince McMahon, last week. Apparently, this might have laid down the foundation for a future opportunity for him regarding WWE return. As reported, by Sean Sheehan, that comeback could happen, really quick,

The undefeated boxing champion recently traded shots with the current WWE Champion Drew McIntyre to fuel up rumors of a future match. They have thrown some friendly barbs at each other to sparkle rumors on a future match.
They both belong to the United Kingdom and who knows whether WWE would love to engage them in a wrestling match. There have been reports that the WWE Champion could end up having a high profile opponent from outside WWE very soon. Tyson Fury could end up being that opponent.
While speaking to Bang Showbiz, per The Sun, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre was quite ecstatic on facing Tyson Fury in a match that could be dubbed as the Battle of Britain. He had praises for Fury who understood the magnitude of professional wrestling during his first stint. McMahons were very much impressed with his performance and they won’t think twice to bring him back.
“Tyson Fury is a smart guy, he understands the magnitude of WWE and the global reach.”
“[He’s] an entertainer. He mentioned my name leading up to WrestleMania, I mentioned his name after I won at WrestleMania.”
“He latched right onto it, we got into a back and forth. He understands that Tyson Fury versus the WWE champion Drew McIntyre could be a huge match,” said Drew McIntyre.
Tyson Fury was involved in a brief feud against Braun Strowman last year. During SmackDown’s debut on FOX, the Monster Among Men decided to pick a fight with Fury that led to a match between the duo. This match took place at Crown Jewel in October 2019 which Fury won via count-out. The following SmackDown witnessed him teaming with Strowman to remove the bad blood between the two.
