WWE Women’s division came a long way since the innovation of the locker room. Starting with a Women’s Championship, WWE went on to introduce a separate Divas Championship, at one point, a move that wasn’t appreciated much. Years later, that belt was retired with the inauguration of a new Women’s Championship belt. We then received separate championships on both Raw and SmackDown giving more opportunities to the women superstars.
In today’s article, we have sorted out the longest-reigning Women’s Champions in the history of the company, throughout these different eras. NXT and NXT UK Women’s division reigns were excluded from the list as we have only counted the reigns from the main roster, only. Here are the 10 superstars who had longer reigns with coveted prizes of the women’s division.
Kaitlyn (WWE Divas Champion) – 153 days
Kaitlyn captured the WWE Divas Championship on a special edition of Monday Night Raw where the show celebrated its 20th anniversary. The one and only title reign of her career also began in front of her hometown of Houston, Texas that makes things even more special for her. The run was not forgettable either as her feud with AJ Lee was a memorable one. AJ was the one to take the belt away from her at Payback PPV in 2013.
