In the Group E contests, hosts Armenia beat 10-man Kazakhstan by 2-0 while Poland defeated another Montenegro by 2-1. Meanwhile, Romania-Denmark match resulted in a goalless draw.

Taking the advantage of an extra player on the field, hosts Armenia beat Kazakhstan by 2-0. The visitors’ defender Sergiy Maly was shown red card on 64 minutes after he got two yellow cards on 19 minutes and 64 minutes respectively. After that, Armenia earned two goals in the quick successions from the feet of Henrikh Mkhitaryan (73′) and Aras Ozbiliz (75′) respectively.

On the other hand, Poland beat hosts Montenegro by 2-1. Poland took a 1-0 lead in the first half after Robert Lewandowski scored a fine goal from a free-kick on 40 minutes. On 63 minutes, Stefan Mugosa levelled the scoreline through a header. However, that equalizer went vain after Lukasz Piszczek scored the winning goal for Poland on 82 minutes.

Due to the defeat of Montenegro, Romania and Denmark both had a chance to climb up at the second position in the points table through victory. But Romania and Denmark left the ground with a goalless draw.
