UEFA WC Qualifiers Round-Up: Spain Beat Italy; Croatia-Kosovo Match Abandoned 1

Hosts Albania beat Lichtenstein by 2-0 in a Group G encounter on Saturday. Odise Roshi (54’) and Ansi Agolli (78’) scored one each in the second half of the match.

 

Spain 3 (Isco 13’ & 40’; Alvaro Morata 77’) – Italy 0

Spain moves one step ahead to direct qualification for the 2018 FIFA World Cup after beating their competent opponent of Group G Italy by 3-0.

Isco put Spain 1-0 ahead in just 13 minutes of the match with a magnificent free-kick. With another fine strike, Isco made a 2-0 scoreline for Spain in 40 minutes.

Morata made the 3-0 scoreline on 77 minutes with an excellent finish.

 

Israel 0 – Macedonia 1 (Goran Pandev 73′)

Macedonia handed hosts Israel a defeat in another Group G match. Visitors’ forward Goran Pandev scored the only goal of the match on 73 minutes through which Macedonia claimed their second victory in the ongoing 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualification campaign.
