Roman Reigns picked up an injury during a match at the house show in Sydney Australia on this past Monday night. A scary spot took place that had some people worried.

Big match announced for Mexico supershow

“Roman Reigns may have suffered a minor injury or some sort of stinger during the main event of today’s WWE live event in Sydney, Australia.

At one point during the match, Reigns took a hard bump between the cage wall and the ropes. Reigns went on to help finish the match but appeared to be hurting on his way up the ramp.

Roman Reigns reportedly signaled to a medic and a WWE official that he was hurt, and they spoke with him as he returned to the backstage area. Stay tuned for updates on Reigns’ status.”

Now WWE officials and also the fans must have been worried about the condition of Roman Reigns after the incident occurred.

After all, he is the face of the revamped SmackDown brand on FOX whose absent could keep the huge Team Flair vs. Team Hogan match in jeopardy. Thankfully, though that won’t be the case as the injury appeared to be a minor one.

Big return announced for SmackDown

A report from ringsidenews.com gave updates stating that the doctors have already cleared Roman Reigns for competition. If that’s not all then we assure you that he has already made an in-ring return this morning.

The Big Dog defeated Erik Rowan in a Street Fight during WWE’s live event in Brisbane, Australia.

It should wipe out any doubts regarding the minor injury that Roman Reigns possibly had the night before. So he will be ready for this week’s SmackDown and also make his presence felt at WWE Crown Jewel.

However, unlike Roman Reigns the condition is not similar for the other big injury reported on the same live event that took place in Sydney, Australia. Xavier Woods has picked up an Achilles injury as confirmed by WWE.com which may have been in a worsening condition.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the severity of Xavier Woods’ injury. Whether it’s not confirmed but the injury is said to be ‘very bad’ that could keep the former tag champ out of action for several months.

Here’s more from what Meltzer had to offer regarding The New Day member’s condition,

“I think it was a tear, but that’s not 100%, but everybody in the company was talking like it’s a tear. The company hasn’t released the actual injury other than it was an Achilles injury.

It seems pretty bad and that’s what I’ve heard is it’s bad. If it’s an Achilles tear there will be surgery and a long recuperation period you know nine months or longer. You know he was just bouncing off the ropes essentially and just went down. Yeah, you know it’s just one of those freak things.”
