Lacey Evans was the special guest referee who had full intention to rob Rollins and take away the championship. It was then when Becky Lynch ran out for the first time to save her boyfriend’s title.

The duo then performed in a storyline that put them in another main event match at Extreme Rules. The duo defeated Corbin and Lacey in a mixed tag team match where both the prime titles were on the line. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch have always been focussed to the storyline than taking care of their relationship while on TV. This is something unique that Becky also mentioned during a recent interview.

WWE Raw women’s champion recently spoke to talkSPORT and admitted that at first, she was ‘apprehensive’ on working with Seth Rollins on TV. She did not want her relationship to be the focus of the audience. But she gave it a re-think and then went for it since they wanted to play fighter kind of role on TV rather than being a lover.
