WWE Raw witnessed some solid actions on Monday night’s episode. It kicked things off for an annual Summerslam PPV event that is scheduled for August 19.
The focal point of the show was the fate of the Universal Championship (UC). Brock Lesnar did not bother many to show up once again. Paul Heyman arrived on the show – to give proxy and confirmed that his client will be back at Summerslam for a title defense.
All the prime names from WWE Raw received the chance of facing Lesnar. Two good triple threat matches were in store.
Roman Reigns won the first one whereas, Bobby Lashley won the second one – to set up a major collision on next week’s show. The winner will face the beast at the biggest event of the summer.
Lashley ended the taping of WWE Raw on a winning note and featured in an interview, afterwards. He went to say that how much he is different from others when it comes to physicality. He will prove the same at Summerslam.
Reigns and Lesnar respectively will be his next two victims as per his strong words.
Unfortunately, there was no dark match for the fans in attendance on WWE Raw. All the major male superstars from the show, took part on either singles or doubles contests which is the reason behind this.
Check out the post-Raw note from wrestlingINC.com,
“There was no dark main event after this week’s RAW in Buffalo, NY went off the air. WWE had Roman Reigns, Bobby Lashley, Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin, Elias, Drew McIntyre and WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler advertised ahead of time. WWE did announce that the red brand will return to the KeyBank Arena in Buffalo for a live event on Sunday, December 30th.”
Alexa Bliss had a segment on the WWE Raw fallout show with Mike Rome. They brought out the miscommunication from last week before the Table For 3 episode went on the air.
So, Rome apologized to The Goddess and suggested a Table For 2 instead. But Bliss was in no mood to have dinner with the interviewer.
Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan continued bragging about her maiden on the WWE Raw over Ember Moon.
Plus, Dolph Ziggler cut another promo about how good he is, as the Intercontinental Champion.
