WWE chose the female superstars once again to compete in a main-event match of a pay-per-view event. ‪The historic Women’s Tag-Team Championship Match that was contested under TLC rules turned out to be pretty underwhelming. ‬Furthermore, the execution was so bad that it made The Boss unhappy. Also, an injury made things even worse, entirely.

WWE Positively Thinks Edge Will Return To Action In 2020

First of all, there were multiple botches and unclear set of moves throughout the TLC match. But ‪the most serious matter of this match was Kairi Sane getting injured which possibly led to a concussion. ‬

How WWE Is Using The Fiend To Change Other Superstars’ Characters?

Kairi was visibly out of the match. She had no idea of where she was which is a clear cut indication for suffering a concussion. Thankfully, she was able to complete the match.

There was a moment when chairs were being thrown relentlessly that could hurt any one of the competitors. Plus, there was also a spot when Charlotte Flair was trying to lift Kairi Sane for a powerbomb who was not engaging in the move and was seemingly confused. This was another time that led to frustration for the creative team.

As noted by Slice Wrestling, Vince McMahon was furious by the lack of common sense shown by the officials,

“‪Vince McMahon changed the production mid-match when he got word Kairi was hurt and Vince McMahon was said to be furious with referees for not handling the injury in a more effective manner which WWE referees are trained to do. He let the refs hear an earful backstage after the match.”

Kairi Sane had to undergo concussion protocol after the TLC match and WWE doctors will make a diagnosis before this week’s Monday Night RAW. She was indeed diagnosed with a concussion and hence got removed from the action.

WWE will protect one-half of the tag team champions, going forward and would also keep her out of action until the doctors declare him fit again.
