Vince McMahon Angry At Roman Reigns For Not Working WWE Wrestlemania 36
As per the earlier reports, Roman Reigns was getting ready to feature in his record 5th WrestleMania main event against the former Universal Champion Goldberg.
After a long wait, WWE finally brought him back to the championship picture with the plan that he would become the world champion, again. But all of those plans got scrapped out due to Coronavirus pandemic as the franchise player denied to participate at WrestleMania 36.
WWE never addressed the reason why Roman Reigns was taken out of the scheduled Universal Championship match against Goldberg at WrestleMania 36.
They have suddenly inserted Braun Strowman into the title match that may have indicated that WWE is not happy about how things turned out ahead of WrestleMania 36. They were forced to alter one of the championship matches which was not appreciated.
According to what Wrestling Observer has reported, there’s a possibility that Vince McMahon is mad at Roman Reigns as the latter decided to back out of WrestleMania 36.
He wasn’t mentioned at all on SmackDown or the two nights of WrestleMania 36. There could be two reasons behind the same. Either, The Boss is mad at him or just trying to ignore the unfortunate situation, altogether.
“Maybe they’re mad at him and they have no right to be. It’s either they’re mad at him or they’re just trying to hide it as much as they can and they don’t want to deal with it.”
The coronavirus situation is getting worse around the United States, day by day. Certainly, it won’t get better within a short span of time which guarantees that Roman Reigns is not coming back to action anytime soon as his body is immunocompromised due to earlier battle with leukemia.
This puts a big question mark around his WWE career, as well. This is the second time that he is going out of the context, for health-related problems.
As reported earlier, Vince McMahon booked Goldberg to defeat The Fiend to win the Universal Championship. He then booked Roman Reigns vs. Goldberg at WrestleMania 36 to ensure Reigns gets a positive reaction when he wins the Universal Championship from The Myth. This wouldn’t happen if Reigns would have defeated The Fiend to win the title.
The whole creative plan backfired as Roman Reigns pulled out of WrestleMania 36. But he has to take care of his family who made the rightmost choice to stay away from the danger zone.
