The first night of WWE Draft passed by on last night’s SmackDown making some big changes on the roster. 30 superstars’ fate was on the line on this special night on FOX. A bunch of celebrity superstars also appeared on this special night to make it a must-see. Check out how the Draft I night went by from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

SmackDown kicked off with the scheduled match between Roman Reigns and WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins. After digesting a powerbomb from Reigns, Rollins countered with a Suicidal Dive. A springboard knee and a modified Pedigree followed for a two-count when the lights went out. The Fiend Bray Wyatt appeared underneath the ring through a hole to apply the Mandible Claw on Rollins. As a result, Rollins gets the DQ win and the first Draft pick for Raw. Stephanie McMahon came out to announce WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will be the very first pick from their side. The OCs and Drew McIntyre joined her whereas The Fiend and Roman Reigns joined SmackDown.
King Baron Corbin vs. Chad Gable was the next matchup on SmackDown. Corbin cut a promo on Gable whom the announcers are now referring to as Shorty Gable. Corbin missed a Deep Six and digested a bulldog. Gable hit some German Suplexes and had the Ankle Lock in but Corbin hit him with a sudden End of Days for the win. Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley, and Ricochet joined Raw whereas Braun Strowman and Sasha Banks went to SmackDown.
WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman came out on SmackDown to hype up the next title match between Brock and Cain Velasquez at Crown Jewel. Heyman talked about how Lesnar will settle the score with Cain at the Saudi Arabia PPV after which Rey Mysterio came out with Cain to show us some stills from UFC 121 where Cain defeated Lesnar. Cain wanted to start another physical confrontation with Cain who decided to back down.
Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston competed in a six-man tag team match against Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and WWE United States Champion AJ Styles. Kofi blocked Phenomenal Forearm and Styles Clash attempt and rocked Styles with a Trouble in Paradise to get the win. In the third round of Draft pick, Raw selected Alexa Bliss, Kevin Owens, and Natalya whereas SmackDown got The Revival and Lacey Evans.
The fourth round of Draft pick chose the Viking Raiders, Nikki Cross and Street Profits for Raw and the Heavy Machinery and Lucha House Party for SmackDown.

SmackDown Women’s Title Match took place next, where Bayley challenged Charlotte Flair in a rematch from Hell in a Cell. Bayley slaughtered the inflatable tube men with an ax-handle that has blades coming out of it. Flair hit a Moonsault but Bayley countered with the Bayley hit a Bayley-to-Belly suplex for a two-count. Flair countered with a Boston Crab and tried to go for the Figure-Eight. Bayley rolled her up from behind to get the win and become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion. After the match, Bayley cut a fierce promo on the crowd as her new music played to send the show off the air.
