WWE has taped WrestleMania 36 at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida on March 25th and 26th. Most of the filming of the biggest event of the year was made at the PC while some of them were reportedly taped at a few other locations including Full Sail University which is also known as the NXT Arena. Gimmick matches like John Cena vs The Fiend Bray Wyatt were conducted outside the PC.
As noted on this past week’s episode of SmackDown, Bray Wyatt hosted an edition of Firefly Funhouse to send an invitation to John Cena for their scheduled match at WrestleMania.

He proposed that the match should become a Firefly Funhouse match. It is not confirmed what kind of match it would be but reportedly it may end up being a similar match like House of Horrors match from 2017.

According to Brad Shepard, WWE has a unique plan for John Cena vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt match. A separate set was built for this one outside the PC. It’s not confirmed whether that match got necessarily filmed at the Full Sail. But WWE would likely to make this match a never-before-seen experience for the fans, as per the source,
“When it comes to shooting a match outside of the Performance Center, I was told they’re thinking along the lines of the ‘House of Horrors’ match in 2017 – in other words, the idea would be to blend pro wrestling with movie-making, which Vince McMahon loves.
According to a source in WWE, the John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt match is getting the full-blown movie treatment. I’m told it will have a very unique look and feel. They’re doing the match in a warehouse and John Cena is involved creatively.”

Wrestletalk is reporting that it was Bray Wyatt who first pitched the idea of a Firefly Funhouse match. He wanted to use his two characters during this match – The Fiend and the Firefly Funhouse character.
Since the match would take place at a warehouse kind of place, it’d be fitting that both the characters of Wyatt could be used, effectively. This, in the end, should ensure a victory for the resident monster of the SmackDown brand which also brings back his strong avatar at the expense of Cena.
