Rumors of The Undertaker retiring from WWE keeps on getting bigger with every passing year. But as told on The Last Ride documentary, Vince McMahon believes that this man could be doing things, forever. Thus, he surprises the WWE fans by making a return, every single time. At this point, the uncertainty around the career of the greatest sports entertainer continues.
The Undertaker: The Last Ride series on the WWE Network is presenting some untold stories which fuelled up the speculation whether the big retirement announcement will be received during this show. Ariel Helwani of ESPN tried to find out from The Undertaker whether the final episode of this documentation will be bringing out the big news. But The Undertaker was tight-lipped about it,
“Hey I love you brother, but I can’t give you that before episode two comes out…I’ve been retiring, personally, here when I’m at home, for at least 6 years.
Every year I’ll come back and I’m all beat up and everything hurts the next day, and I’m like, ‘Man that’s it.’ And all I get from [Michelle McCool] is a big eye roll and she goes, ‘Until April comes around.’ She’s been pretty accurate so far.
I learned you never say never, but it’s very obvious that I have far more matches behind me than I do in front of me. Nobody beats father time.”

WrestlingNews.co additionally reported that the whole writing staff is being ‘kept in the dark’ on The Undertaker’s in-ring status. Specific care is being maintained in this case as they don’t want any information regarding this to be leaked. As always, none other than Vince McMahon is overlooking the whole matter for the most trusted shoulder of his company.
“Whatever he is going to say will not be spoiled on the internet. None of us know if he’s done. Other than his wife, I think the only person who would know would be Vince.”

The Undertaker was originally set to retire at WrestleMania 33 after digesting a loss at the hands of Roman Reigns. But he was in the worst shape of his career and came up with not so Taker-Esque performance on that night. The unsatisfactory showdown and Vince McMahon wanting him back to in-ring competition, forced him to come out of retirement, a year later.
At this year’s WrestleMania, The Undertaker returned to competition by facing AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match. It turned out to be the most successful match of the entire card of the show of shows. For the first time in more than 15 years, he returned as The American Badass and the move was immensely praised. As of now, we’ll have to wait and see what his next step in the career, could be.
