WWE is likely to deal with Jeff Hardy. He is the current United States (US) Champion and one of the most popular superstars on the Smackdown Live brand. But the former TNA star might not have been able to leave the habit of getting into a major problem. He is continuing with his bad habits and likely to give a penalty.
We reported earlier Hardy dealt with an arrest back in the Wrestlemania season. He involved himself in a car crash incident. This destroyed a significant amount of properties taking him into police custody. Police released his mugshots as well during that span.
Hardy was not present on WWE TV at that point. He was overcoming an elbow injury that kept him out of action for more than eight months.
Now, fresh reports have arrived that found him guilty in this case. Currently, he is a prime name on Smackdown TV and likely to suffer consequence following the verdict.
WBTV has reported that Hardy has pleaded guilty to the charges. The court heard a 120-day suspended sentence and a fine of $300 for the superstar. He will also have 120 days to complete 40 hours of community service. These are the final outcomes of the DWI charges in Cabarrus County.
The police report found him guilty for running with his car. These were the statements, “ran off the roadway … striking about 105 feet of guardrail before the back end of the car spun out 90 degrees … coming to rest in the middle of the right [north]bound lane of travel.”
The charismatic enigma recorded a .25 blood alcohol content on a breath test he submitted on the day of the incident. The collision has caused an estimated $8,000 of damage to his 2016 Cadillac and $5,000 to the guardrail. Younger Hardy has to file compensations for these.
WWE always treat these kinds of things sensibly.
Jeff Hardy might suffer a lot of negative backlash due to this incident. We should note on this context that the current US champ has already suffered suspensions twice for his actions by WWE.
Another such suspension can end his WWE career.
