As for the headlining matches, there’s is still no word on who will challenge WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in their respective title match defenses. Meanwhile, Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that WWE has planned to professionally film the WWE Title match, so that there could be storyline-related content, coming out of WWE MSG.

Heading into the show, the Special Counsel for Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman has promised that Lesnar will not leave the WWE MSG show with the WWE Title. At one point, Lesnar was advertised to face Bobby Lashley but the challenger isn’t medically cleared to compete in the match.
