WWE Raw has confirmed yet another championship match for Extreme Rules. The management has previously confirmed the women’s title match for the PPV.

Moreover, a number one contender’s match was also on the card which now looks to be in a jeopardy. Apparently, there can’t be a multi-man match for the challenger’s spot for the Universal title.

We are likely to get more news on it next week. But the updated version of Extreme Rules PPV match card suggests the Raw tag team titles will be on the line.

Apart from that Bray Wyatt and Woken Matt Hardy are the current champions with these respective titles. They have not defended it for quite a while.

This storyline around the tag teams has become less significant ever since they won it after Wrestlemania. Both of them are the marquee names in the flagship brand which is barely getting the spotlight.

Another problem is that their opponents at Extreme Rules are not that match valiant competitors.

The B-Team came out of nowhere after The Miz went to Smackdown Live during Superstar Shakeup. His buddies Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas wanted to be significant on the roster and formed this tag team.

WWE creative gave them a slow push which kept them undefeated to date. This also earned Axel a solo win on Hardy on this week’s Raw.

Plus, they have earned the contender’s spot by winning a royal battle a few weeks ago.

So, WWE.com confirmed the contractual title match will take place at Extreme Rules praising the efforts of the B-Team,

“Though it may have seemed ludicrous at the time, the pair that previously had no name and no victories to speak of suddenly found themselves on an undefeated run. Don’t miss out when The B-Team attempt to overthrow the greatest team in the Multiverse! WWE Extreme Rules streams live on Sunday, July 15, at 7 ET/4 PT on the award-winning WWE Network!”

The champions are the absolute favorites to retain their titles at Extreme Rules.

B-Team is a complete no matchup against their standards. Only the ongoing momentums cannot help them to become holders of the prestigious title on Raw.

Rather, The Revival or the team of Ziggler-McIntyre can be valiant opponents for them when Summerslam season picks up.
