Unlike the past few appearances of Batista on WWE Raw, last night was exceptional for a couple of reasons. First off, it might have been the very last time that we saw him on the show as an active competitor in his career. Also, he showed up in his own city to earn huge cheers from the crowd in the second hour of the show. It did provide a huge buildup for his final Wrestlemania match against Triple H.
Three superstars arrested on Raw
The Game himself was not in the building due to which Batista had to go solo on his promo act. The audience cheered him, big-time during his entrance since Washington, DC is his hometown. The spotlight was back on The Animal as he showed us a promo focusing on the Wrestlemania 35 bout. It was basically a collage of his victories over Triple H in the past few years.
Thereby, he threw a shot message to Triple H and walked out of the ring like a true heel to get back some boos. The segment was short but impactful on WWE Raw as stated by WWE.com,
“He marched down the ramp, seemingly ready to give one final impassioned speech. And then he threw to a video package of his various victories over Triple H, told The Game to “kiss his a**” and walked out of the ring.”
Former WWE Champion “The Animal” Batista will face “The Game” Triple H, at the biggest stage of them all. These two have already become living pro-wrestling legends that makes this match a must-see to the fans. Two of the cornerstones of the Ruthless Aggression Era is lacing up boots in this contest, after all.
The capacity of this match from WWE Raw has been high since these two names decided an additional stipulation to this match. As demanded by Batista, Triple H has agreed to put his career on the line. This is the second time in the same venue of Wrestlemania that The Game will do so to prove why he is the King of Kings.
But Batista has come back on WWE Raw with a vendetta of his own i.e. to destroy Triple H. No one knows the WWE COO better than his former stablemate as he went on to play The Game in his own terms. The Career being on the line is part of that trick from the former six-time world champion. Will he be successful in doing so? We will find out on April 7th when Wrestlemania emanates on April 7th.
