WWE News: Batista Teased A Future Rivalry Against Triple H On Smackdown 1000 1

Batista returned on Smackdown 1000 after a ton of hypes around the show. Reports were out on the internet suggesting that WWE would call him up for this special occasion. In contradiction, some of them suggested that current conflicts between Batista and WWE might not let it happen. Finally, WWE.com came up with the announcement of an Evolution reunion on Smackdown 1000. This confirmed the return of the former world heavyweight champion.

The greatest faction in WWE history comprising Triple H, Randy Orton, Ric Flair, and Batista made their grand entrance on Smackdown 1000. Triple h was the one to start talking with the mic. He mentioned that how it’s appropriate to reunite the group Evolution to signify the evolution of Smackdown for the past two decades.

Ric Flair did his signature struts and ‘woo’ chants before Randy Orton picked up the mic. He continued saying that how Smackdown helped him building his legacy as a 13-time world champion in the WWE. Finally, Batista got the mic in his hometown of Washington. He mentioned the fact that a poor boy from this city went on to live his dreams. No matter what, he always tried to entertain these fans.

The Animal also mentioned that how the crowd booed him during his comeback in 2014. They called him boo-tista but that did not bother him. In fact, he would always love to entertain the fans in the WWE that gave him the fame. Randy Orton, Triple H, and Ric Flair have been the three reasons too who gave him the opportunity to become a superstar.

Batista had a ton of praises for Randy Orton and Ric Flair on Smackdown 1000. But speaking about Triple H, he mentioned how The Game has never beaten him in his entire career. This created a sudden rift between the two of them. They were about to create some tense moments inside the ring until Ric Flair broke it up.

Batista and Triple H hugged as Line in the Sand played to end the segment on Smackdown 1000. But there are no doubts that the creative team tried to plant a seed of a future storyline between these two. Batista always wanted to end his career by having a final match against Triple H. It looks like he might be getting the same, finally as his retirement match. This match could end up being on the Evolution match card.
