Brock Lesnar will be back in action in WWE programming at WWE Crown Jewel PPV. He was the former Universal Champion for over 500 days until this year’s Summerslam. Roman Reigns was the one to dethrone him from the title reign. The former champion automatically deserved a contractual rematch from his contract. He never received it and decided to interfere the Hell in a Cell main event back in the last month.

This handed away an opportunity to Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel PPV event. Earlier the lineup was a triple threat match where Roman Reigns was about to defend against both Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman. But now he is out of the equation after relinquishing the title. Hence it will be just a one-on-one match between the rest of the two participants of the match.

We expect the presence of Brock Lesnar on WWE Raw considering it was the go-home episode of Crown Jewel PPV. He did not disappoint us and showed up in the opening segment. Baron Corbin was cutting a dud promo to bore the crowd when his music hit the arena to cheer them up. The beast incarnate arrived on the scene with his advocate standing by his side.

Heyman went on to cut a promo about his client. He predicted that Brock Lesnar will beat Braun Strowman fair and square at Crown Jewel. He clarified that it is not a prediction but a spoiler. Lesnar had a cold look on Corbin during this promo segment until Braun Strowman arrived on WWE Raw. He was confident about winning the Universal Championship on this Friday night.

Corbin did not want a fight to break loose on WWE Raw. Hence he tried to keep these two separate. But he eventually pushed Braun Strowman and digested a powerslam. The crowd asked for more and so he continued with two more powerslams on the acting GM of the show. But, Brock Lesnar kept on lurking from the back and put down Strowman with an emphatic F-5.

Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman have their own history from last year. They squared off in a Universal Championship match at No Mercy 2017. The beast retained the title on that occasion due to her lengthy title reign. This time around, Braun Strowman is the favorite to walk out as the Universal Champion at Crown Jewel.
