WWE News: Former WWE Champion Returns At WWE Live Event

WWE Holiday Week is continuing to the much delight of the fans. This is that time of the year (except for Wrestlemania tour) where fans can expect the biggest of surprises in store for them. Huge lineups are in-general main events for these kinds of shows that we can barely watch in even PPV programming. Plus a number of comebacks happen in these shows that we can barely expect.

Former WWE Champion John Cena returned to in-ring competition, earlier this week. On December 26th. He followed up with another huge shocker by competing against Daniel Bryan in a WWE title match, two night later. Additionally, another WWE Champion returned to work on a WWE Raw-exclusive house show. This indicates his comeback on live TV programming seems imminent.

Bray Wyatt is the name who made a shocking return on a WWE Raw live event hosted in Columbus, Ohio. He competed against Baron Corbin in a No Disqualification match and eventually won it via clean pinfall. Corbin has competed against John Cena, one night ago at the Madison Square Garden show. The repeated lineup may have followed, the very next day. But the former WWE Champion came up with a huge treat for his fans.

It looks like that John Cena might continue to work in Smackdown programming for sometimes before going back to WWE Raw. Meanwhile, Bray Wyatt returning to the squared circle ended some of the burning rumors regarding his career. He put some tweets a few days ago that might have hinted him potentially leaving WWE.

But that should not be the case as he is working in the house shows. Prior to this, he defeated Baron Corbin in another dark match before WWE TLC event. This started speculations that he may replace Braun Strowman at the PPV who was in an incompetent state. WWE officials had some backup plans and they decided to go with it instead of bringing him back.

It’s still not understood why a fan-favorite name like Bray Wyatt is still out of the scene for a long time. He is not even dealing with an injury but WWE decided to keep him out of the picture for no reason. Perhaps, the former WWE Champion is waiting for the perfect storyline to kick-off. Once he gets that, we should see him back on WWE Raw in 2019.
